Pigging From The Top Of The Ground

Pipe cleaning without a manhole - with the Quick-Pig pigging station, you can pig pressure pipes quickly and safely directly from the top of the ground. The Quick-Pig pigging station takes over the function of the inspection chamber.

For pipe cleaning or inspection, the pig is inserted into the pipe in a few simple steps without having to descend a shaft. The pig is removed in the nearest inspection chamber or at the next Quick-Pig station using a catch basket.

Integrated flushing connection: Each transmitter module is equipped with a Storz coupling as standard. If the basic performance of the pump is not sufficient, you can support the pigging via this.

Area of application: Wastewater pressure pipes, both in new builds and for existing pipes.

The Quick-Pig pig launcher requires fewer trades and adjustments than walk-in chambers. Installation can be carried out easily by a plant and pipework constructor.

Although the Quick-Pig pig trap is robust, it cannot be driven over. It must be protected by a protected by a stable manhole cover. When determining the appropriate dome height, it is therefore important to ensure that a distance of 200 mm is planned between the top edge of the ground and the cover.

Scope Of Delivery

• Base body made of black PE 100 with watertight cover
• Pig transmitter with pressure-tight bayonet lock and hinged locking mechanism for hydrant spanner type C 32 mm
• Flushing connection with 2" Storz coupling made of stainless steel V4A (1.4571) and matching dummy cover. 4" Storz on request at no extra charge.
• 1 medium-strength test pig (PU foam) for draining/venting
• 1 medium-strength cleaning pig (PU foam + cross-band coated) for removing sludgy and pasty deposits in the line
• Inlet and outlet with HP flange with fibre-reinforced backing flange. Variants with VP flange or Reinogrip plug-in coupling available on request.
