OWS Oil-Water Separator

Oil-water separator to remove oil contamination from the condensate. Compressors produce significant amounts of condensate that is contaminated with oil. This condensate must not be discharged into the sewer system. An oil-water separator reliably removes the oil contamination from the condensate. According to the manufacturer the OWS ensures with a simple, fast and effective condensate treatment that not more than 20 mg/l hydrocarbons remain in the condensate, so that it can be disposed properly.

The oil-water separators have the following standard reference conditions according to ISO 7183:

- Ambient temperature: + 25 °C
- Operating pressure: 7 bar
- Inlet temperature: + 20 °C

Please note that an oil-water separator must be dimensioned larger if the ambient temperature and humidity are higher than the standard conditions for screw compressors.
