Our sewer technology shop offers a suitable high-pressure nozzle for every type of pipe blockage. To make the right choice, it’s important to consider the nature of the obstruction, its location within the pipe, and any additional operational requirements.
After identifying the blockage using a pipe inspection camera and selecting a cleaning nozzle, it’s essential to ensure the nozzle is compatible with your high-pressure jetting system. For example, the connection type must match. While adapters can be used, we strongly recommend selecting a nozzle that matches the performance specifications of your jetting system. In high-pressure applications, fewer interruptions in the system mean better efficiency and improved safety.
Nozzle inserts also play a crucial role. Even with the correct nozzle type, you won’t achieve effective cleaning if the inserts are not matched to your system’s specifications. Key factors include the water flow rate (litres per minute), operating pressure (bar), hose length and diameter, as well as the number of nozzle inserts.
Determining the correct insert size is a technical process. With the above details, a specialist can calculate the optimal insert configuration. These performance values are essential to determine the ideal bore size of the inserts. If the orifices are too large, there won’t be enough pressure to pull the nozzle through the pipe. If they’re too small, water flow is restricted and the cleaning effect is significantly reduced. That’s why we ask for your pump specifications before purchase.
The pump data must be specified
In our online shop, we request your pump data when ordering a nozzle so we can configure it correctly before dispatch. To ensure your nozzle is properly set up, we need your system’s flow rate (l/min) and operating pressure (bar). With this information, we can ensure your equipment is ready for smooth and efficient cleaning straight away.
Please be advised that entering your pump data is mandatory for correctly setting up your nozzle. The image below illustrates the designated section for entering pump data during the ordering process:
We have specially developed nozzles for every application
Let’s say you’ve identified a heavy blockage in the pipe system caused by mineral deposits and sludge. In such cases, our Quattro Chisel Nozzle is a suitable choice. The forward-facing jets break up the material, while the sharp edges of the nozzle cut into the deposits. This allows you to break down the obstruction and flush it out of the pipe effectively. Others, for example, generate vibrations that can be used to knock even stubborn deposits out of the pipe: Vibration Nozzle. Other nozzles also impress with their individual strengths:
- The Granate enables highly effective cleaning and flushing of wastewater systems, even with coarse soiling such as gravel or grit, as the nozzle has a high weight.
- The Tarantula uses two slowly rotating rear nozzles to remove even stubborn deposits such as grease, soap or small roots.
- The Anaconda easily cleans angled and winding pipes, junctions, connections and soles thanks to its steering nozzle.
Whatever the application - we support you with our personal experience. Do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to take the time to find the perfect tool for you.
