TR5 Interlocked Drill or Mill Guard

Height-adjustable stable accident protection device on drilling machines with Polycarbonate screen. This interlocked drill guard is the optimum protection for your drilling machine. You have the choice between 1 and 2 screens made of highly resistant polycarbonate. If required, the protective device is also available without microswitch. When the locked protective guard moves, the IP67 microswitch opens and sends a stop signal to the machine control. This prevents the machine from running when the drill guard shield is open. To adapt the position of the protective screen quickly and easily to your conditions, we recommend our KSP bracket set.

For large milling, drilling, turning machines and special applications.  The universal protection is suspended from an articulated arm equipped with a counterweight. This enables maximum horizontal and vertical mobility. In this way, the protection can easily be brought into the desired position. Vertical displacement is also facilitated by weight compensation and a spring-loaded device. The protective device can be equipped with lighting for the working area. These four brackets help to better center and adjust the protective screen and the attachment to drilling machine guards. In the illustration these angles are marked KSP1, KSP2, KSP3 and KSP4.
